The FC Dallas Foundation is the charitable arm of FC Dallas and Pizza Hut Park. The foundation strives to serve the DFW Metroplex through the creation and support of programs, events and organizations that benefit the overall good of our community, and positively advance the lives of disadvantaged youth through the sport of soccer.

 

KDO Hooper B-day

BWI Kids' Day Out presented by Pizza Hut

Thanks to our wonderful supporters, the 2008 BWI Kids' Day Out welcomed over 1500 kids and friends from around the area to Pizza Hut Park. It was a beautiful day for soccer and FC Dallas responded to a great crowd by defeated DC United 3-0.  We also celebrated Tex Hooper's Birthday, and the kids got to play "Pin the Tail on Hooper" and take a whack at a soccer piñata. We want to thank all the groups who joined us for a wonderful afternoon:

  • Kids, mentors, and families from Big Brothers, Big Sisters of North Texas, Mosaic Family Services, Boys and Girls Club of Frisco, Happy Feat, Bea's Kids, Jubilee Center, and America SCORES Dallas
  • Friends from the Knights of Columbus, Parkland Community Health, Spirit Horse Therapeutic Riding Center, and Amazing Jake's
  • Future soccer stars from Red Oak Soccer Association, Dallas United SC, Bowman Middle School (Plano), Lee Elementary (Denton), and other teams from around the area
