On July 4, FC Dallas and the FC Dallas Foundation presented a check in the amount of $16,039 to the Frisco Education Foundation. The money was raised during the FCD versus New England Revolution game on April 24, for Frisco Community Night. The funds will go toward college scholarships for graduating FISD seniors and grants to FISD teachers for innovative classroom ideas. As a result, all FISD students will benefit from this donation.
The Frisco Education Foundation, in partnership with the Greater Frisco Community, provides financial resources to maximize the potential of students of the Frisco Independent School District through the awarding of educational scholarships and innovative grants.
